SO HOW IS IT DONE?

In most cases, the customer will already have a good idea of what they want. This may be nothing more than a much larger version of a product they already sell.

Once an idea has been agreed upon and designed on paper, its time to start sculpting the foam. EPS foam is sculpted with hotwires, grinding tools and the occasional chainsaw. As you can imagine, sometimes this is a messy job. After the form is completed, sealed and sanded smooth, it is ready to be coated.

Next, a hardshell finish of polyurethane is then applied to the surface. This is the same material used for sprayed-in truck bed liners and makes for highly durable "tough as nails" finish.

The last and most important step is the paint job. With a wide variety of paint applications and faux finishes, even a low detailed sculpture can be made to appear highly detailed with the proper paint job.
